We may collect the following information when you use the Service:

Account Information

• Email address
• Name

SeatCanvas does not store passwords.
Authentication is handled via third-party providers such as Google and Microsoft (Outlook).

Event and Project Data

• Project name (e.g. “My Wedding Plan” or localized equivalents)
• Event name and event date
• Guest names
• Seating arrangements and layouts
• Notes, labels, and other event-related content

Payment Information

• Payment metadata such as transaction IDs and purchase timestamps

SeatCanvas does not store credit card or payment card details. Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers (e.g. Stripe).

5. Analytics, Cookies, and Similar Technologies

SeatCanvas uses analytics and performance tools provided by:

• Vercel Analytics — Core Web Vitals and page-view measurement.
• Google Analytics 4 (property G-JKMRSHR3BX) — acquisition-channel attribution for the sign-up and checkout funnel.
• Google Ads (account AW-17958375270) — conversion measurement for paid-acquisition campaigns.
• Cloudflare — delivery and security of the Service.

These tools help us understand how people discover and use SeatCanvas so we can improve it.

Cookies set by Google on .seatcanvas.app:

Google Analytics data is processed in the United States. When you create an account, we send Google Analytics a SHA-256 hashed identifier derived from your Supabase user ID — your raw account ID is never transmitted.

When you first visit SeatCanvas, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies by category:

• Essential — security and core functionality. Always on; these cannot be turned off.
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4. Controls whether analytics cookies are set.
• Advertising — Google Ads conversion and enhanced-conversions measurement.

Visitors in the EEA and the UK have every non-essential category set to denied until they choose; elsewhere, non-essential cookies default to on and can be turned off at any time. Vercel Analytics measures Core Web Vitals and page views without setting cookies and runs on every visit.

To review or change your choice later, open Cookie settings in the site footer, or in your planner profile and mobile settings. You can also opt out of all Google analytics and advertising cookies by emailing hello@seatcanvas.app.

SeatCanvas uses third-party service providers to operate the Service, including:

• Supabase (authentication and database)
• Vercel (hosting and infrastructure)
• Stripe (payments)
• Email service providers used for transactional communication

Your data may be processed and stored outside of Mexico, including in countries where our service providers operate.

7. Data Retention

Free Tier Users

• Data associated with free usage may be deleted after prolonged account inactivity
• Reasonable email reminders will be sent before deletion

Paid Users

• Paid users are required to set an event date
• Data is retained for 30 days after the event date
• Reminder emails may be sent to allow users to export or retrieve their data

After the applicable retention period, data may be permanently deleted.

SeatCanvas does not guarantee indefinite data storage.
