SeatCanvas is a web-based tool that allows users to create, manage, and export seating charts and event layouts for weddings and other events. Features may include interactive layout design, guest list management, and export of plans in formats such as PDF or CSV.
SeatCanvas is a planning and visualization tool only. We do not provide event coordination, venue services, or guarantees regarding real-world execution.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. The Service is not intended for minors.
By using SeatCanvas, you represent that you have the legal authority to plan or manage the event for which the Service is used.
SeatCanvas may be used without creating an account, subject to free-tier limitations.
Creating an account does not automatically grant access to all features. Some features require a one-time payment. Accounts without payment remain subject to free-tier limits.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
We may also send marketing or promotional communications in the future; where required, you will have the ability to opt out.
SeatCanvas currently offers one-time purchases to unlock additional features. Subscription-based plans may be introduced in the future, particularly for professional event planners.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. SeatCanvas does not store payment card information.
SeatCanvas offers a 7-day discretionary refund window from the date of purchase.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
SeatCanvas reserves the right to deny refund requests, including but not limited to cases where:
Refunds required by applicable law will always be honored.
Approved refunds are processed immediately through our payment provider. Depending on the customer’s bank or card issuer, refunded funds may take 5–10 business days to appear on the original payment method. We do not control bank processing times.
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service, including seating layouts, guest lists, and event data (“User Content”).
You grant SeatCanvas a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
SeatCanvas does not sell User Content.
Our collection and use of personal data and cookies are described in our Privacy Policy.
User Content associated with free-tier usage may be deleted after prolonged account inactivity. SeatCanvas will make reasonable efforts to notify users by email before deletion and provide time to take action.
Paid users are required to set an event date. User Content will be retained for 30 days after the event date. During this period, reminder emails may be sent to allow users to export or retrieve their data.
After this retention period, data may be permanently deleted.
SeatCanvas makes no guarantees regarding indefinite data storage.
